The things i'm interested in at the moment...

HELLO THERE!

 

Today I will be talking about 2 things I'm interested in. Cricket and the Rubix cube.

Cricket is a game which has two teams batting team and the bowling  team. at once. The aim of the game is to get the batting team out and get as much runs as possible. You earn runs by running along the cricket pitch by hitting the ball, hitting the ball out of the marked field or simply by just the bowling teams bad fielding. Most of you might know that the ICC Cricket World cup is being held here in New Zealand and Australia right now. The Black Caps are doing ok so far in the world cup. The Black Caps thrashed England last Friday.

 

I have been very interested in the 2x2 rubix cube ever since I got it on Xmas day 2014. My record for completing it is 12 seconds which I am very proud of. Before I got this cube I thought what a stuiped idea. The aim of the solving the rubix cube is to solve one side and get the rest of the others sides without messing out another side. It is quite complicated but very fun at the same time.

1st Blog Post of 2015!

 2014 was so last year!

  

HELLO!

This is my first blog post for 2015!

Today I will be talking about how our task system is going for me, what have been some of the good points and some of the challenges and is there anything I would add or change to the school/ class run?

Each week of tasks so far have been fairly easy to me. The first week I completed all of my tasks on Friday morning and on the second week I completed all of my tasks on Thursday, but I know there will be way more tasks later in the year.

One of the hard tasks so far this year was the charter sketch, I did it on my mum Samantha Walker. Another hard task was the Tech recount we had to do in week 2, it seems like writing this year has gotten the best of me so far. I really love the start of the years tasks because they are easy and each week we have to do about 2 title pages which is really fun. I have a new teacher that I have never had before, Mr McGurk. My brother had Mr McGurk last year and he said he is a really good teacher except that he is really strict on spelling and writing.

There is nothing I would change to the school / class run except the task system, I honestly don't like the task system at all but if you think about it if there was no task system there will be no blog now reward time and stuff like that. Tasks also help with managing out time better.

I have really enjoyed these 2 weeks and a half of school and I am ready for the rest of the year tasks! And that was my blog post for this week and

What I am Looking Forwed to in the Holiday

Hello!

This will probably be my last blog post for the year.

Maybe in the holidays I will do some posts.

I'm not promising that though.

But I will be back in 2015. Yeah!

 

 

My plans for the holidays is to do many cool stuff including going to my cuzzies house for Christmas day, going to swim camp, surf life saving, opening presents on Christmas day, going to church on Christmas Eve, hanging out with my friends and having fun times with my family.

 

I am not really going anywhere except going to my cousins house on Christmas day like I just said. I will also be going up to my Nan and Pops' house each week to spend a night with them.

 

I will be doing many fun stuff including having my friends over going swimming in our family's pool, celebrating my cousins 1st birthday and Christmas day will probably be the most  fun day out the whole holidays. On the 9 days till Christmas after school ends I will be making presents for fiends and family, which will be fun.

 

My family have a couple Christmas traditions including Christmas tree presents (secret Santa if you don't know what Christmas tree presents is), my mums side all go to our houses or my cousins house on Xmas day.

 

So this will be my last official blog post for 2014. I will miss a lot of year eights like Astin, Paolo and the person I will miss the most is Alister he is one of my best friends and he is going to Melbourne. Good Luck to all the year eights for next year! And I will be back next year all refreshed and ready to do some more a post!

My Highlights of Term 4!



Hello today I will be talking about my highlights of term 4!

• Dodgeball was one of my faviourtes.
• Atheletics was also pretty fun.
• Year 7 retreat was way better than other years.
• Japanese was a really fun languge to learn.
• Space was also really interesting to learn about.
• And lucky last tasks.

And this is some of my highlights of the year. My theme will aslo be a dodge ball court and people throwng dodge balls.

• Production was my absloute faviourte.
• Electives was really fun as well.
• E.O.T.C week was fun.
• The big day out will be fun.
• Swimming sports.
